#HerPower Tools 2025: Application Guidelines
In collaboration with CUSW and Milwaukee Tool, the #HerPower Tools program aims to inspire and support young women in pursuing careers in youth apprenticeship programs, post-secondary skilled trades, apprenticeships, or STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields.
HOW TO ENTER: Complete the #HerPower Tools application form available here
WHO CAN ENTER: #HerPower Tools applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Identify as female or female-identifying.
- Be enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Youth apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, or registered apprenticeship program.
- Must be enrolled in a trades course in high school (ex:m woodshop, automotive, or mechanics.)
- Post-secondary Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics (STEAM) program.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis while supplies last.
WHAT DO YOU GET: Build a Dream in partnership with our presenting sponsor, CUSW, Build a Dream is giving opportunity to young women for a chance to win the following:
- One of 200 tool bags filled with job essentials (a $150 value!)
- A complimentary 30-minute consultation with one of our wonderful Career Support Specialists!
SELECTION PROCESS:
- Only fully completed applications submitted through the online application form will be considered.
- Applications will be reviewed based on the information provided.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By applying to the #HerPower Tools program, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Build a Dream reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all applicants. Failure to comply with verification requests will result in disqualification.
- Incomplete or ineligible applications will not be considered.
- All decisions regarding eligibility, disqualification, and any other aspects of the contest are final and cannot be appealed.
- Applicants consent to Build a Dream storing and using personal information provided for the administration of the program.
- Selected participants agree to allow Build a Dream to publish, broadcast, or promote their participation, which may include their first name, city, and program of study or field.
- Applicants can withdraw their application at any time by contacting Hussein at hussein@webuildadream.com.
